Fareed is president of both Carla Bijouterie and F. M. Abdulky, Inc. He is a master jeweler with 55 years of experience in gold & platinum fabricating, stone setting, engraving, casting, gem identification & grading.
Lina is responsible for matching stones, gem & metal inventory, quality control, and managing all incoming and outgoing work. She has been with the company since 2005.
Marwan trained with Fareed in 1999 and has been with him ever since. He specializes in rings: sizing, prongs, shanks and laser soldering.
Irene produces hand drawn sketches of designs, logs work into the computer and is training with Fareed to be a jeweler. She is currently a senior at ACS in Ithaca. She has been with the company since 2015.
Dan is the controller responsible for accounting and customer relations. He has been with the company since 2012.
Orlando creates CAD models of in house designs and machines wax molds. He is currently a graduate student of Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University. He has been with the company since 2016.
Paul began in specimen gem & mineral trade then studied Chemistry with a concentration in crystallography at Central Connecticut State University. He has been a jeweler since 2006 and has been with the company since 2011. He specializes in hand engraving, stone setting & micro pave.
Olav creates CAD models of in house designs and machines wax molds. He is currently a senior in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University. He has been with the company since 2016.
Bill specializes in lapidary, gem stone inlay & casting. He has been a goldsmith since 2002 and has been with the company since 2016.
Soo graduated from EHWA in Seoul, Korea with a BFA (textiles) and then the Parson's School of Design in NYC with a BFA (industrial design/ furniture). She has been a jeweler since 2010 and has been with the company since 2016.
Eileen graduated from Boston College with a BBA, received a Master's degree in landscape architecture from Cornell University, and is a GIA Graduate Gemologist who always wanted to train with master jeweler and finally is. She is also responsible for social media & marketing. She has been with the company since 2016.
David is the technician responsible for the production of wax patterns (both hand carved and computer -operated milled), rubber mold production, casting support, equipment maintenance, and data base management. He has been with the company since 2013.
Amber attended NYU for education, but always had a love for jewelry. She has had experience re-inventing vintage jewelry. She has been training with Fareed since 2016.
